30-06 and reloder 22
Howdy
I heard that reloder 22 is the newest best thing for 30-06.
Im currently using 2209 and getting 2840fps over a 165gn HDY interlock with good accuracy.I'm now playing with Amaxes with good accuracy although I haven't chronyd them yet.The loads are not maxed out.
Is anybody getting better results with reloder 22?

RL22
its like rocking horse shit, but there's a new "less temp sensitive powder" from Alliant = RL23 available in a few places. I use RL22 in a 280 Ackley running 162 AMAXs @ 2900 fps @ 0.3 moa. Have yet to try the RL23 as I have a bit of the old RL22 to keep me going. U could also try ADI 2213SC or 2217 which are slower burning than the 2209.

I have a bottle of RL 22 with about 20 rounds loaded from it...its new...bought a few weeks ago if someone wants to take it off my hands.

RE-22 too slow for 30-06
If sticking around 168gr for bullet weight then you simply won't be able to cram enough RE-22 into the case to get reasonable pressures and consequently velocities. AR2209/H4350 is as about right for top load densities with that combination.

I have some reloader 22 here if you want to try it mate also got some 17 if you want to give it a try

I am getting excellent results with 167 grain Lapua Scenars (2950 fps, 1/2 MOA) at low pressure with ADI 2213SC, but you need a good barrel length to get the results. I am running a 26" tube on my long-range rifle.
