    you could still buy the plastic sabot bit as a component a couple of years ago...they got used in all manner of .308 cal cartridges...the wee x39mm cartridge poked out impressive figures using them too....if gnash thinks they good for assignation he has watched "shooter" movie or read "point of impact" book too many times......
