Which .30 cal

I'm looking at up-sizing from my 7mm RM

I have been reloading a mates tikka 300 Win Mag with the 208 Amax with great results. However loading to mag length is limiting powder capacity and velocity. I am wanting to get over 3100 fps with the 208

I have been looking at the 30/338 lapua, but I wondered if KG's new 30/375R was a more efficient powder burner?

A 300 Norma is another one to look at, needs the .590 bolt face, but it a great performer :cool:

Obviously the 300 Rum is there as is the 30-378 but they are a little bigger than you require.

The beauty of the 30-375 is it is standard .532 magnum bolt face, easy dies & brass, cheap, light build on a donor 300 Win mag Rem 700 SPSS :)
