Thread: 30 cal interlocks

Shot that young sambar with a tipped180gr interlock last week. 30.06 at about 40yards. Had cut the tip off. Lungs were soup. I suspect they are a tad on the hard side and need to hit bone.

Try the round nose version,if anything they almost too soft.beautiful expansion with awesome terminal performance.

Have used the 150 grain round nose in a 308, got aerodynamics of a brick & knock down of a freight train

Yes the RN are great. And probably all of need.

But i still have abt 200 of the 180gr. So, ill do my best to use them.

Then I'll go to the 165gr interlock. Bought 200 couple of months ago to guarantee stock.
