Thread: 30 cal sabots??

Ive toyed with this as an idea do any of you guys use them whats your experiences or thoughts
ive coppied this off of someones TM listing

sabots for a 30 cal rifle
they use a 22 cal projectile (I use 55 gn vmaxs) pressed into the sabot.photos of bullets are a 223 and a 30 06 using same projectile. the 30 06 is traveling about 4200 fps
They are like a wad in a shotgun and separate as it leaves the barrel

here is a few est muzzle velocity
.300 win mag 4400 fps
3006 4200 fps
308 win 3800 fps
30 30 win 3500 fps
