Thread: 300 Blackout loading with Frangible ammo

I've got some good groups at 50m shooting the 90 grain XTP in my 16" 308 with 4.5gr of AS50n, no fillers (see pic). Hasn't seemed to be position sensitive. You might try that instead of Trailboss to get the speeds up a bit if you are running out of room with Trailboss? In my rifle I found 5.5gr was supersonic with the XTP, also shoots well 165gr RNFP with 6.5gr AS50n.

But yes, drop is alot compared to the 168gr Amax its sighted in for, but I've got a scope with mil-dot markings at a wee printed label stuck to the scope to remind me what "dot" I use for the sub loads at 50, 75 and 100m.
