I load the 180 gr Noslar BT and Accubond with 74 grs R22 for 2960 fps out of my Tikka 300 Win Mag. Both bullets have the same BC of .507 and appear to be identical in shape but one is bonded the other cup and core. I have found they shoot the same so if I need a tough bullet I use the Accubond and the Ballistic Tip for anything else. Magazine length limits me to the Noslar bullets, I would like to try the 200gr ELD-X but would need to load single shot. Might try the 178gr ELD-X soon as they have a higher BC of .535. Probably load the 178gr bullet with AR 2213 SC to about 3000 fps when I change over.
Norma brass, CCI primers, adi 2225, 212 eldx at 2990fps
Pongo 12 what length barrel do you run and do you load single rounds or Magazine feed? They are real good speeds in the 300 Win with those bullets.
@Rushy 300 load - 67.5gr ADI 2213SC, CCI Magnum Primers, Remington Brass, Hornady AMAX 208 gr
Gets about 2670 - 2680 fps out of his Savage BA110.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
Geez Rushy that's a fair sloth of a load that one
The load works reasonably well - might be slow but that fat 208gr pill gets there in the end.
Actually its a bit like @Rushy....
@Rushy Let me know when you get some weekends free.
I don't have too much on for the next month or two...

As in Fat and slow, or that he gets there in the end ?
