    .300 WinMag Reloading

    Hey there guys,

Was looking at getting into reloading for a .300WinMag was wondering how many rounds I would have to shoot in order to make this worth it , money wise
Also what is factory ammo like for shooting upto 750m ? Will the quality stuff be alright ?

    Cheers

There is very good factory ammo about.
No point reloading if your idea is to save money. I doubt you would be shooting the 300wm enough to achieve that.
    Reload for the personal satisfaction.

Yeah that's what I thought, apart from the range I plan on shooting less than 12 rounds a year hahaha

Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

goodluck with trying to do them subsonic. they usually need to be going fairly fast to stabilise. I got shit groups in my 308 but I only used 55gr FMJ's. 30'06 and bigger cases seem to be the go with them.

    Sabot load I'd guess.
