Hey guys,. I have recently started reloading for my .300WSM and over the weekend ran up a few loads using twice fired Winchester brass. I ended up having to trim them right back as much as .5mm on some. Is this normal for a magnum case?

Yeah mate that is normal
I trim my brass after each firing, it tends to be a bigger job if you let it flow. I don't think the magnums are worst than others, some smaller calibers flow quite bad that's one of the advantages of Improving the cases on those that can be.
Also depends if you are neck sizing or full length sizing. Full sizing works the brass should and neck more. You will notice it needs trimming more, especially if there is excessive headspace.

Thanks guys, good to know
