Thread: 300 wsm load info Berger 220lrht wanted

Hi, anyone tried the 220 bergers in 300 wsm? Or 225/230 Hornady or 215 bergers? I’m looking to run either retumbo/2225 or reloder 26 and looking for a start point. The closest I’ve found is some Barnes data for a 212gr projectile listing both of these powders.

Use the 225gr ELD-M's in mine and they go well over H1000/2217.

You can use the 220gr ELD-X data on Hodgdon's website as a starting point.

Not sure if Retumbo would be just a bit too slow.

Thanks Pommy, I had seen that but they don't list either of those powders. I saw a video with Mark and Sam after work running 2225 in their wsm with 220s and getting good velocity.

I may just do a ladder and see where I end up

Just remember that Marks chambers are custom throated for maximum powder volume.
