There's no reason that I can think of for those 162gr AMax not to work in a 1:9.5" twist 7mm-08.
But the 215gr Bergers are well below the stability threshold in a 1:11" 300 WSM, so personally I wouldn't waste the dollars on trying them. Each to their own I guess.
@HWWSM that's your limitation with your stock Tikka, the barrel twist. I wouldn't worry about though as you'll still be able to shoot some good quality high BC bullets, just use the stability calculators to see what's a non-starter, what's marginal and what's a guaranteed good outcome. Even if a bullet calculates as stable, your rifle might not like it, and as WSMJ says sometimes a rifle will shoot a marginally stable bullet just fine. I've never really had that much success with bullets that are a little too long for the twist, so tend to not bother.
