What ever you sub wise just remember that they are poor killers. My experience is that they pencil through do F all damage and the animal runs off. If you can hit the spine its all good but unless you buy specialised bullets like Le High's nothing expands at that speed. I was thoroughly disappointed with subs in a hunting situation. This get compounded by the rainbow trajectory that means once you get past 50m you have to be very aware of the Exact distance otherwise you end up going low into the brisket and wounding. Subs sound good but in reality I think they are a waste of time for most hunting situations. I am sure I will be flamed over this but I geuss opinions are like arseholes, everyones got one.
+ 1 couldn't agree more, that's why I went to 450 Bush Master for subs using pistol projectiles, at least its an 11.5mm diameter entry hole.
