    300wsm

Gday team. A mate has a t3 300wsm and hes wanting some loads made up for it, he asked if I would help but I have minimal knowledge on the case. Hes wanting to use the 200ELDX. He has 2213sc and 2225 on hand but getting different powder is no drama. Anyone able to share some data etc?
    Cheers. Cam.

Is he going to use it as a single shot as the 200 ELD-X may be to long for a magazine fit, it may take up a lot of case capacity otherwise. I used to have a 300 WSM and used the 180 gr Accubond and 2209 for about 2950 fps. Nice caliber.

for 300wsm I stick with pills in 165 - 180gn range. My go to powder is IMR4350, using 168 AMAX for longer range and 165 Partitions up close, both running ~3030 - 3050 fps. Everything hit is DEAD!

bloody good. I talked with him and its a 24' tube suppressed. Hes now keen to run a single feed 200 eldx load if he can and then just use some mag fit factory bombs for the closer stuff

I used 2217 for her. Ive just come back inside from testing her at range. 1st round hits from 300m to 760m. 2nd round hits 830 to 1000m, just a bit of wind making it difficult

I've yet to find any factory ammo or reloads that don't fly well out of my Tikka T3 300 WSM.....I use Nosler 150 BT's when I can afford them but at the moment have yet to be let down by 150 Sierra Prohunters....they just work....
