Hi what powders are you using? Anyone using re-17? or nosler 180grain accubonds
R22 and the 208 works great
1-10 needed though.
1000yds is fun, 1500yds is getting interesting, 2000yds is exciting, 2500yds will blow your mind
full case of 2213 gave me 3K in a 25" barrel with 180BT Nosler
Fishing ... Hunting its all good
thanks guys. have got lb of re-17 an have read great things about it from overseas but am yet to find good info from a NZer.
Rl 22 - 208s an 210 @ 1 in 11 Sako shoots good ,( I prefer 2213sc for 208s or 210 - 2850 fps 24" barrel ), N550 for 165 sirocco swifts .. there is a bit said about the 17 all thou not much data ,mainly temp unstable cold to hot if your pushing it hard .
ok, well i will work up some loads in about 3 weeks and report what i find.... Very conflicting info on the temp sensitivity of the powder, some forums and data say its very stable while some say its no so. I think it all just depends on how the ammo is stored prior to shooting and wether it has been sitting in a hot chamber. So many variables. Best to get my own data i guess
AR2209 i find is a good alround powder for the .300wsm.
gives good consistent speed and case fill is confortable..
Addicted to gun powder
168 Ttsx and re-17 is a wicked combo. same hole at 100 and cnsistant kills on deer and tahr at 500+
Mate, I used vvn550 with 165grn interbonds in my s/s A-bolt averaged .5 , load was 2grn over nick harveys max but safe in my rifle.
