    .303 tracer Rounds from 1943

I just obatained about 40 Tracer rounds for .303 from 1943. Question) Do you reckon these could be fired through my rifle or is it too risky? I also got some 1929 CAC Rounds and they all appear to be in pretty good nick. Would love to see some Tracer rounds in action :O

    Cheers,
    Brad

They'll be ok provided they're in good condition, just make sure you clean your bore really really really well after use. Boiling water is good.

Sometimes the stale old stuff won't spark up 'till it hits something. Don't bring 'em to the ASRA shoots though Brad, they're verboten on most ranges.
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

I wonder if they would let me fire them in Waiuku. Not much to burn down there.

This, boiling water is the best fix to remove the salts from old military ammo.
