308 150gr PMC bullet game performance?

Hi, I've got a box of bullets from sometime in the past when PMC made bullets for sale. These are 308, 150gr, with a huge open tip, slightly over 3mm in diameter. Has anyone used these on game, and what was the performance like? Cheers.

not used those ones...but the 130 and 150grn were great in 270 winchester....they soft and expand well...those LOOK LIKE been made for 30/30,should be VERY good and explody at 308 velocity....sure wouldnt need to run them hot.

Looks good for a 30/30,wouldn't expect them to hold together upon impact in a 308 Win though....

As said a 3030 bullet designed to run about 2200 fps. I've used Sierra 170s in a 308 at 2600 fps, they do act a bit like a varmint bullet at those speeds though.

These are copper mono's like the Barnes. They may loose petals at high speed but not blow up.
