    .308 Hornady SST

Does anyone knows what powder to use to load a factory spec. 150 Gr 308 SST?
Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.

I'm about to go this way, looking to get 2206H. Might even try the superformance powder.

I use 45gr 2206H in my 20" Sako 85 Black Bear with the 150 Gr 308 SST. This is a group I shot this morning with the bullets seated out to just fit inside the mag. Fiocchi primers.

The range is only a few minutes from my house so I often just go down to shoot one group if I make a change to something.

Thanks Gibo, I'm pleased with the Sako Black Bear I bought last January.

I'm getting 2,803-2,818 fps last time I checked.

2208 or 2206, i use 2208 when loading for 150. Have read that 2206 is better for around the 150 mark though, never tried it however.

Thanks, will give it a go. I have just set up my range at home , its only 100 yds but enough to play. Only my financial manager would see it as good fun too

Well, with grouping like that is definitely worth a go for sure!
