.308 subsonic load

Hi, I’m wanting to know what powder I should use for the .308 190gr Sub load with no Trailboss available. what other options are there that are available in Nz?

I use 6.5 gr of Unique behind those 190gr in a 16" barrel Bergara, no packing, seem's a very reliable and stable powder. Those 190gr's kill goats real good.

Thanks mate, I have found some CFE BLK, do you know anything about using that in subs? powder shortage isn’t helping me. I’ll try find some unique as you suggest

Or Red Dot. It's a little fussy with neck tension, but almost the next best to TrailBoss in terms of volume for weight. A fair bit of that around. I seem to recall some loading the 190's with around 6.5gr - but you'd need to start at the start load and work down as per.

This may help. But they are cast bullets.
