Why use a small expensive monolithic trendy bullet?

Speer hotcore 150 gn at $55 per box of 100

    2206H 45-46gn for 2700-2800

Had some failures on animals with TTSX...no issues with lead cores

How far could you reach out with that projectile?

Heres some super quick and extremely rough data pulled from Strelok.

    150gr Hotcor .389bc doing 2700fps = 43inchs drop at 400 with 1064ft/lbf and 1788fps

    125gr Accubond .366bc doing 3000fps = 34inchs drop at 400 with 1074ft/lbf and 1967fps

If you're dialling, the difference is neither here nor there. I could be/This could be completely wrong and inaccurate so someone please correct me.

I had multiple faliures with cup and core hence going to the barnes. Zero fails.

    How did the projectile fail?
