    338-378 vs Improved version

looks better in person... those were just cell phone pic's

Should have had another 308 or the likes beside it as well for reference

The rifle was not sighted in so none through the crhony yet but with well over 100gr of powder with a 338 185gr TTSX I guess it could push them along quick enough.

Never going to be a hot load in this rifle though but with 30" of barrel should still get some speed

Don't do it on that case unless you have a cheap source of brass

The owner of that has 100 cases new and once fired cases but some of the once fired cases was fired tooo hot so wont go in this tight chamber.... he also has a 30-378 imp that it just fits in

    Brass is about $6-8 each

This was a case of a guy that wanted something different and found the reamers cheap (30-378 and 338-378 imp ) so he got a long barrel and had it fitted to an action he had... We will never see the cases true performance as I wont load it hot, ......or even warm as I dont think the setup will handle it, infact I wont load it at all, He does with my gear, It will still be an OK setup and he certainly has something different and he will enjoy using it

    But the case looks cool
