    In my experience copper jacket projectiles and solid lead in either .338 or .30 will not expand at sub sonic velocities. However it wont matter for head and neck shots. I have tried quite a few subs from .338Mag 300/308 etc.. never tried to hollow point cast projectiles or Lehigh.

    If you want expansion with subsonic velocities there is only two options, pistol projectiles, or better still purpose built sub projectiles like Lehighs
