    338 win mag - powder avice

    Just wondering best powder option for 225 sst. Any existing load would be great. Its for a ruger m77

    ADI list a maximum load of 69.5 grains of AR2209 that looks pretty good, giving a velocity of 2785 fps in a 24" barrel.

    My load for 338 Win Mag is 69 grs of Win 760 with the 230 gr Fail Safe bullet for close on 2800 fps. Rifle is a 98 Mauser action with a MAB barrel , 24 inch.
