338br/whisper load development

I created a good load using 20 odd grains of n110 throwing 175gr cutting edge maximus projectiles around 2250fps, these have energy to expand out to around 400m and I'm currently hitting gongs at 550 with a 0.34moa 100m grouping.

I'm about to start my subsonic load dev also. The old load was throwing a 300gr hpbt sierra @1050fps with 12.5gr of n110. My new projectiles are the peregrine 280gr which jaco got in for me. I'm mainly aiming to get the speed down to 1050fps, then look for a node from there.
Should I be just shooting and chronoing say 10.5g, 11g, 11.5g and 12g of n110? Find the closest speed to 1050, then go in a few .2gr increments up and down to find a good es ?? Then play with sesting depth for the group tightness ? I hear cncd copper bullets need to have a big jump also ?

not familiar with n110 is it related to winchester 296powder also known as h110 which has always come with a warning NOT to download.... often used in .410 and .44 magnum.

it seems really easy to make up a around subsonic load using shotgun powder and most things already have good reliable data for them,or something very similar.

Start your load high, and go down in weight.
Look up load data for the 8.6 back out and that will also give you an idea.
Just as a hint.
I had a load of 9 grain of n120 in my blackout behind a 240 SMk. Which was working fine.
I sampled some subsonic copper projectiles from Aussie , starting with 10 gr. And the first round I got the bullet stuck inside barrel.
I maga Ed to push it out with a cleaning rod.
I changed my load and went slightly higher in powder weight. The next few rounds went out good. But on the 5 or 6th round got stuck at the end of the barrel.
Than one was easier to get out. But that gives you an idea of what could happen if you don’t have enough powder in your case.

Yeah, hence I was thinking of working down from the 12.5gr of n110 which threw the 300gr @ 1050 should see me a little faster being 280gr ? But have heard stories the copper projectiles will travel very different. Anyways, was thinking of that load mentioned above but will work down to get to 1050fps, 12.5g, 12.25g, 12gr 11.75gr etc
