    I think it's one that Bertram do (did?).
    The Handloaders's Manual Of Cartridge Conversions states 30-40 Krag can be used to make a short version.
    7x65R Brenneke (yeah where do you get those) can be also adapted.
    Goes on to say .405 is unique and these cases are always a compromise and are not as satisfactory as factory grass.
