    500grer`s for Sharps

Hi guys, just for giggle's and a sore shoulder I was thinking it`s about time I tried some 500gr lead bullets in my Sharps. Just had a bit of a look around, can't find any. So who has them in nz, if I can get some will have a crack at shooting 200m as the big slugs stay on course , but I will need at elephant size target.

I met a guy here in Nelson who casts his own for a Sharps. Pretty sure they were 490gr.
I will get in touch asap and ask if he can supply some, as I know he has a heap already to go

Hi , I just thought one of the gun shops might have them, have got some 405`s from Hays Ass in the passed. I know, lathe = make bullet mould = 500gr bullets, but have to get the length of one to get the right weight and lathe is tide up at the mow , reaming out a barrel . My Sharps barrel is .458" at breech end and .457" at muzzle, I`m using .405"/.410gr, sized to .458/9" +, and there`s not rush, barter , bullets = beer ?, could get them at the 8 acer camp get together Maca49 if coming down. Thanks guys.
