    55 gr Norma Oryx

    Hi there

Does anyone have experience with this projectile in 22-250? Thinking especially of a load for the larger end like red deer. They're not cheap that's for sure. I'm thinking to use Sierra SBT in 55 gr for fallow, goats and down, but maybe the Oryx would be better on reds.

I Use the 55gr spire point on Goats and Fallow in the 223 no problem - works in a number of situations with better stopping power than the V-max that splinters or becomes frangible. Not always being immediately fatal.

I'd have thought with 22-250's speed this would be kinda a similar situation. The Norma Onyx - looks quite similar to the spires from memory..

Have shot a few red deer with the 55gr Oryx out of a 223.
BC of a basketball but they perform very well on game.

Im having a awesome run with 50grn ttsx through the .223,I firmly believe they would be absolutely devestating in the .22-250 grab a sample pack and try them.
