Anyone use this projectile? How does it go up close/further out. I put some Superformance through my Finnlight and it's both accurate and really fast. Good enough to not bother with handloading for this rifle.

I use the 129 SST along with the 143 gr ELDX, point of impact is the same. I load them with 45.5 grs AR 2209 in my 6.5x55 Tikka T3X for 2717 fps COAL is 76mm.
Have shot a few goats and several deer and they work very well, on deer complete penetration at 250 yds on a big hind and its yearling.
I think they work very well at the slower speeds of the 6.5 x55. A friend of mine is using the 180 gr SST factory load in his 300 Win Mag and has been bombing a few pigs and deer lately and the bullets haven.t been exploding as a lot of people think, no worse than a cup and core type bullet, his factory loads are doing over 3000 fps.
The 129 gr SST and 143 gr ELDX are both very accurate in my rifle as well, can't fault them as of yet.
What chambering?
I run the 129 interlock as a reduced load in the prc.
The interlock and sst are sopost to interchangeable in load data and performance on game.....I found this not to be the case in 30cal with the 150gr
I only have a sample size of 3 animals all goats.
Launched at a sedate 2500ish they tip up goats out to 250y so far with an impact velocity getting close to 2000,no bang flops typically run 20-30yrd then tits up....little meat damage.
Based on my experience with both in 30 cal I would expect the sst to open more violently than the interlock and perform well where impact velocities are relatively low.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
6.5 Creedmoor. They are clocking close to 2800fps.
