About LinkBacks140 Amax is the projectile, and the ADI max in 2217 is only doing the stated 2690ish, which for a 284 seems awful slow. That sort of speed is never going to realize the rifles full potential methinks ? ? Have made up 2217 @ 54,54.5 & 55 to try, and also 2209 @ 47.5,48 & 48.5. Most of the internet data available has the 284 at 2900+, so I'm aiming for around 2900 and will fine tune after the trial loads.
It's a hunting rifle( I've forgotten if it's a Tikka or Rem700 ) std braked barrel. Lapua brass, CCI mag primers.
I was wanting confirmation that the loads were on the right track, and I think it seems they are ? ?
