    Actually 23" TF.

Tried those loads out today, but still a bit slow, both loads ended up at or just under 2800. Have made up more, going up in .5gr increments.

Am now at 4-5gr over the ADI max recommended loads with no pressure signs at all. It seems that most of the loads I've made up for my rifles are similarly over recommended loads, and the only use the ADI book is for is to give you a starting point at their max load Have other shooters also found this is the case ? ?

Are you 100% happy with your chrony? I had a 24" barrel 6.5x284, it was hard to get any good speed from it. Id say try N560 and be prepared for a reasonably short barrel life.

The chrony is a CED M2 with IR screens and appears to be working well, so yes to that, although I would like to try it against something else in tandem.

What speeds were you getting with yours LR ? and what loads were they ?

The rifle is for a hunter that won't be trying over 4-500m so there isn't any point in trying to bust a foo foo getting max speeds, but rather get sensible speeds for max killing power.
