shooternz is right in that the 2.835" magazine length of a Remington short action will be restrictive for a Creedmore. With the reamer cut for freebore to keep the boattail junction just inside the neck the OAL for just touching is going to be up around 2.9".
The 6.5x47 will fit a Rem SA and allow for touch or jamming with typical throating; with a 0.17" freebore just touching with the 140gr ELD-M and 140gr VLD both give a OAL of 2.78", and 2.79" for the 130gr VLD (slightly different ogive from the 140 it appears).

It came like that , i think they have the fixed cheek piece option as well I paid 2200 for it, Alan knocked 200 off it - whakatane h&f has another one identical in stock.
I removed the factory piticanny as it weighed shitloads and just threw on 30mm low optis

Running a Model 7 in 260 that I had reamed with @Mathias 30 degree reamer. As mentioned already, seating length is the likley issue (or non-issue as in my case). 140gn Berger VLD's doing 2751fps with a single digit ES. Pushing by a CCI 250 Prime and 44.5gn of N160, seated to mag length. 19 inch barrel with older Hardy can. I run out of energy (1000ft-lbs) at 800 yards. Have shot plenty of animals between 400 and 600 yards without issues.

My 30deg 260 reamer is essentially a 6.5 Creedmoor with a 2.9mm longer case. It was around for a while before the CM became popular. @Uplandstalker thats great shooting

It's ideal as it sits right between a 6.5CR and a 260AI. I've only ever neck sized, but some cases are starting to get a little tight on closing the bolt. Not that I've been counting, but must have 5 or 6 reloads though the cases. All RP brass that is going OK.

I bought Redding dies from the designer of the reamer. Uplandstalker uses a Lee collet die from memory.
