About LinkBacksRunning a Model 7 in 260 that I had reamed with @Mathias 30 degree reamer. As mentioned already, seating length is the likley issue (or non-issue as in my case). 140gn Berger VLD's doing 2751fps with a single digit ES. Pushing by a CCI 250 Prime and 44.5gn of N160, seated to mag length. 19 inch barrel with older Hardy can. I run out of energy (1000ft-lbs) at 800 yards. Have shot plenty of animals between 400 and 600 yards without issues.
