    6.5 Creedmoor ideal bullet weight

Any got some advice on what weights will work best with a 22 inch 8.66 twist barrell

    With the ELD M either 120,140 or 147 -

Of course I can just get a box of each ...
Will be factory though - I don’t reload at the moment

    120 to 130. 140 don't shoot that good in mine (8.5" twist 27" barrel).

I have a 6.5x47L that loves the Lapua Scenar 123gr it has a slightly smaller case capacity than the Creedmoor which is about the same as a 260 Rem they can handle the 139gr very well, that would be my choice based on how my brothers 260 Rem shoots the 139gr Lapua Scenar.

More a question around bullet-barrel match than case capacity. You could try these:
Twist Rate Stability Calculator | Berger Bullets
    JBM - Calculations - Stability
The 140gr are still worth trying though. Degree of stability aside (within reason), your barrel may like them.

I'd buy a box of the 140 to try first.
Shut up, get out & start pushing!

Hornady precision hunter shoots very well in my rifle. Half inch 3 shots and just over an inch 10 shot rapid fire group.

    My T3X CTR (8.5T x 24") like 130's both Sierra matchkings and ELD-M's with 41.3g A2209 (.3"MOA average). It also likes 140's. Haven't tried 143's or 120's.
