    6.5 Creedmore loads

I've got new Nosler Brass and 147 eldm, can also get 140 and 143. Have CCI 200's
    Hoping to not have to shop around for powders. I have R23, R17, 2225, 2209, 2208, 2213sc, and 8208 XBR .
Some yank forums seem to point to the R23 going all right in the CM with 140-147.
Anyone cooking up a load that goes good with what I currently have?

What is this thing you speak of? What happened to the mighty .270, the king of calibres, the greatest thing since 1925. SMH

    I’m running 41.6 gr 2209 with 143 ELDX out of a Tikka TAC1 action.
Can produce 5 shot single holes, if I do my part.
Off to try 140 gr Bergers and 142 grain sierras this weekend with a similar load.
Remember to load lighter first and build up checking for pressure signs

23 17 2209 and maybe 2213sc will all be good so your sorted for powder iv used 143 and 147 to good effect in the creed but with different powders so I won’t chim in with recipes I’d say 2209 will be worth the load D

I'm using either RL26 or Hodgdon superprofrmance both give same fps and very low ES I use 143 eldx and are pushing them around 2800fps from a 20" superprofrmance is easier to find as it's just come back in stock
Flick me a pm if you want any data I've loaded that and the .260 a lot.

Everything I've read says 2209 or or equivalent is the go to for the 6.5 CM. I've got the Begara B14 coming and I've bought 1kg of 2209 for it.

it is indeed a sad sad day...the once mighty Songhurst has gone to the cream puff land .......poor Bo will be ashamed and may even now have to squat rather than cock his leg.......
the cows will still love him I guess,oh how the mighty have fallen.

will be drinking frothy lactose free soy lattes so the cows may decide pooping on the boss is order of the day.....

I got a good load going with reloder 23 and 147 eld, super accurate but it was super compressed, had to trickle each case super slowly with a drop tube to get enough powder in there and hand to use fireformed brass so in hindsight I’ve decided not to run it. I’ve got a couple boxes of the 140 eld and picked up some 2213sc yesterday so I’m going to try work up a load with that. I have a bit of 2209 on hand and know it will probably be the answer for the 147s but I don’t want to work up a load and find I can’t get anymore 2209 or 4350 for a while. The 140s are still an impressive projectile and kill well

2213sc might be a goer with the 147 as well looking at what the yanks are doing over various cartridges
