I’ve got a couple boxes of the 140 eld and picked up some 2213sc yesterday so I’m going to try work up a load with that. I have a bit of 2209 on hand and know it will probably be the answer for the 147s but I don’t want to work up a load and find I can’t get anymore 2209 or 4350 for a while. The 140s are still an impressive projectile and kill well

Very nice @Ryan_Songhurst I've been toying with the idea of a Creedmoore or a PRC but think the PRC will cost a lot more to set up and run and I already have magnum.

What rifle are you loading these for out of interest?

Ive got a 4kg of 2209 that I'll be splitting up as soon as I finish a 500g can (or sooner if you provide your own container and take responsibility for it if its not a ar2209 one)

Definitely wouldn’t say no to that! I’ve got an empty 2209 container actually…

Those 147s certainly soak up mag space! Almost comical how long they are!

Yes seems like good stuff, they do say it’s ready to load but I run it all through neck sizer first just to ensure consistency and in case something had been dinged up while in the bag. Measures and weighs up very consistent across the lot should get a good run from it

I decided I wasn’t happy with the reloder 23 load as it was so compressed and a real art to loading each round to get enough powder in there. I have a heap of 140 eldm and managed to get my grubby mitts on a good amount of superformance powder so I loaded up a ladder a few days ago and have been waiting for it to stop snowing/raining/blowing a gale and this afternoon finally got a chance to shoot the ladder. It seemed to like it more and more as the powder charge got higher with 45-46.5gr all grouping well together.
Loaded up 3 at 46gr and bingo. Impressive speed also. One shot fired at 530yd gong to confirm velocity and job done. Pretty capable little case really the cm.
