    6.5 Creedmore Reloads?

A mate has a T3 6.5 CM he wants to start reloading for.

I’m ordering some dies tomorrow & some projectiles but I wanna pick the brains of those who already own and use a CM in the Tikka.

So my question is... what projectile & powder are you using?

He only has one rifle where he’s just started out hunting & shot one red so far.

I have four creedmoors They all run on
adi 2209. I like the 147 eldms and hornady brass
The 147/s bit hard to find atm. However the
140 eldms , 143 eldx or 140 bergers all go good

    Nah @Husky1600, the correct load is 42.4gr AR2209 and 143gr ELD-X!

What rifle, barrel length and velocity do you have? And what brass? We’re within 0.1gr. Would be an interesting comparison.

I’d 100% be going with Lapua or Starline SR primer brass @Seventenths.

Much stronger, lasts forever. Heaps of stuff on the interweb to read about that.

    You are half right Dave, it's 42.4gr AR2209 and 90gr ELD-X... (for the 243!)

    THANKYOU FOR ALL THE REPLIES.

I forgot to mention he has plenty of Hornady brass he's kept so we'll just run with that for the time being.

In the meantime I'll chase up some 143 gr ELDX projectiles and i have plenty of AR2209 at hand.

The 143gr ELD-X shot well in my 260, the Sierra Gameking 130gr HPBT shot very well and wasn't fussy about powder charge weight/velocity.

Yip I would use Hodgdon superprofrmance or RL26 with 143 ELDX or 142 Nosler LRAB

    140 g ELD M with 43.8 of RS62 (2740 fps)...........or.............143 ELD X with 44g of RS62 (2770 fps).

Hornady once fired brass and LR primers.

I also run AR2209, hornady brass, 143g ELDX - I run 41.2g at the moment and it groups really well. I don't have a chrono - when i grab one I'll have another play with the load but for now that works well
