    6.5 Sierra Match Kings are FMJ boat tails.

    They are "open" tipped but not designed to expand so if you are allowed to bring them to war you can bring them to a service shoot.

    The SMK "open" tip is just the visible evidence of having the lead core inserted into the jacket front rather than from the rear.
