What’s everybody switching to for there go too hunting projectile??

I was using 140 amax but been running the 143eldx along with quite a few mates and no body is changing as they work.
The 147eldm also work very well.
I am a hornady slut though!

Sweet , I have been running the 140 amax

Ive been using the budget 140 speer seems to go ok ive gone off hornady as i dont want to get a good load sorted and then they discontinue the peojectile like they did with a max it was one of the best ive used

Hornady 143 ELD X, or 147 ELD M (what ever one shoots best from your rifle. Both awesome). Or for controlled expansion 130gr Sierra Game Changers. Done

143gn ELDX, or have just been trying the Nosler 142gn AccuBond-Long Range, which seem to be doing the job. Just don't believe the published BC on the box.

The revised BC's on any new stock are spot on with the AB LR

Anyone using the 140 ballistic tip?

If so any comments? I find them easy to find accurate loads with but have not used on deer as yet.

143 gr ELD X working great.

In my 6.5s I ran 129ssts, 140ssts, 130sierra hpgk and 143gr ELD-X. If it is up close and you are not running at silly speed the 95gr vmax is amazing. Seen it take a shit load of fallow from yearlings to big bodied bucks and even a few pigs. Not that fast though
