    6.5 Rem Mag?

    Has anyone tried building a necked down 6.5 from a 7mmRem Mag? Results?
    I've never heard of one so wondering why not. @Toby??

    264 Win Mag already exists. No reason why necking down a 7mm Rem Mag wouldn't work.

    @Hunt4life the "necked down" 7 mm rem mag ( .264 winchester mag) has been with us since the 1960's I have one as well.

    6.5's are Awsome but save your self some money and time and buy a 7mm rem mag mate,No fire forming no necking up or down and less chance of projectile shortage and no waiting around just buy a Sako Finlight or on a budget but one of those remington lr rigs for 1600.Just my thoughts.
