    6.5 x 55 (T3) 143g eldx 7828ssc ladder test

Ive not long purchased a T3 Superlight in 6.5x55 and have started working on a load with the 143 gr eld-x.

I had a nice accurate load with 46.5g of 2209, running at 2780 fps. But was keen to see if i could get it going a bit quicker while keeping accuracy by using a different powder, i found some load data on the net using IMR 7828ssc that appeared to give a bit more speed. I already had this powder at home as i use it in Dads short barreled 243.

After double checking it thru Quickload, I loaded up a 5 round ladder test from 49.5gr to 51.5gr in .5gr steps. I got to 2900 on the chrony at 51gr but found pressure there with heavy bolt lift and a slight ejector stamp on the case head, so didnt fire the last load.

Here's the results, i think it likes it. Will do further testing at distance with 50.5gr
