    6.5mm SMK's

    I am looking at loading some 120 grain SMk projectiles in my 6.5x68 they will be doing around 3500-3600 fps
    how would they go for sniping rabbits wallabys and the odd goat will they come apart on contact or pencil

    Not the same thing I know but I used 142gr SMK for awhile in my 6.5x55, very accurate but straight through wallaby, not always a clean kill, they were dead alright just didn't know it for awhile.Only going 2660 though.Just keep them for gong shooting now.
    Can't see the same problem with rabbits, should anchor them
    Can't comment on the Goats.

    I have used 142gr SMK on the game you mentioned. They work fine on rabbits, there are better choices for wallaby and they are hopeless on goats. They go straight through.
