Thread: 6.5prc

I run 2217 in my wifes Tikka 6.5 PRC, 24" Barrel. 143gr ELDX Lapua brass & FED210m Primer. 59gr of 2217 gives me 2960fps & this is what i run it at, shoots great. Have gone up to 60.5gr which gave slight pressure signs & 3060fps.

I tried a ladder of 2225 early on, cant recall what it grouped like just see i have written in my book that i ran a ladder from 58gr up to 61gr & by 61gr it was pretty heavily compressed & gave 2984fps. No pressure signs but if memory serves, wont get any more powder in the case.

If you want to just stick with 2217 i can probably spare some.
