Thread: 6.5x55 & 143 eldx with RL26

What do you get out of 2209? I have used 45.5 gr 2209, norma brass, 143 eldx in my tikka 6.5x55 for a few years and get about 2750fps and sub moa most days. Pretty happy with it. Ive not had any obvious issues with it in my rifle. I think it represents pretty much a maximum load for me recoil wise and might experiment with loading it down a bit. If I remember correctly it was accurate as at any loading I tried. Ive not tried any other powders tho.
