    7.5 x54 Swiss

Im rather interested in a schmidt ruben straight pull rifle at present as something different for military shoots. So im wondering if anyone reloads for it. Brass and dies are readily available but 7.5 mm projectiles seem a bit thin on the ground, a 7.5 mas I had would handle 308s fine but the literature says .304 for the swiss any ideas (apart from buy a .270)?

I have always used .308 projectiles in my Schmidt Rubin K11 with no issues. The Hornady loading manual lists it as .308" projectiles. They are awesome rifles, by far my favourite of my collection so far.

Yep always used .308 no issues in my K31.
Velocity is thrilling, but diameter does the real killing.

The original 7.5 Swiss was .304" in 1911 the bullet diameter was changed to .308" the 175 grain SMK or Berger 175 VLD is close to the GP11 bullet, I shoot 155 Lapua Scenars in my K31
