    7.62x39 subsonic

    Hi all, I recently brought Sarvo's baikal I am looking for some data for reloading subsonic 7.62x39. any info on what has worked for you would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

    From memory about 8 grains of trail boss (don't quote me on that) behind a 150gn Sierra .311 prohunter. Testing on a rotten tree stump showed zero expansion however, if I tried again I'd use cast lead hollow points of about the same weight.

    Thanks for the info.i do have a few loaded rounds that came with the rifle but I don't want to pull them apart, I think someone on here reloaded them for sarvo, the bullets are lead cast HP might be 151gn

    Bet they are rob walkers hp bullets I think his handle is shooternz but like scotty I feel the need for a beer right noway.

    std primers and somewhere between 6-8grns of trail boss will see you right...if you want them to expand even more than they do now (which is pretty darn good) flick me PM and will let you in on how I did it.....
