Thread: 708 pet loads

Iv just bought a 708 and a 100 140 game kings more curious of powders I'm going to use the fiocchi primers as their plentiful I have 2208 2209 and rl26

AR2208 is easily the best of those for the 7mm-08. Have used close to Hodgdons (ADI) book max with 140, 145 and 150 grains with decent accuracy. An easy cartridge to load for.

Yup both 2208 and 2209 go well in 7mm08.

42.2gr 2208 with 140gr prohunters was my go2 in afew 708s, all shot well

IMR 4064 and 130g Speer BT all day long.

I run 139gr sp.and win760. Have some 150gr eldx to use after I've finished those.
2208 prolly best powder for most 7mm08.

Good cartridge BTW. I don't feel undergunned with it.

Seems perfect really it's actually for my little brother but I'm sure il get a lot of use out of it iv being playing with downloading my saum but time has being against me so I'm wrapped with his purchase

Yep 42. 2 gns of 2208 behind a 140bt has been my go to for a long while

42-42.5gr of 2208 has worked well with 140gr sierra prohunters, gamekings and 139gr sst.
41gr 2208 works well with 162gr Amax and eld-m
