    Thanks @lau lau
I'm keen to extend oal and see if we can get some more speed and tighten it up

@lau lau That seems like a good speed from such a short barrel, hopefully my 24" will get me to 2900.

Is 25.5 showing any pressure signs, or is it super compressed? Most of the research I have done shows that 25.0 is the max anyone is using with Varget (2208).

Do you know what the seating depth is based on 61mm OAL?

no pressure signs......and slightly compressed load.
I got the load done for me by Allan @ accuracy developments. .....worked up a load for the 65gr gamekings and using benchmark 2 they both shoot to the same POI......

Loaded up these today using 23gr BM2 and @2.390. Many reloaderss are using 2208 but upwards of 25.5gr. It certainly is a long pill. Have an extended mag. Shooting from the Tikka T3.

I tried unsuccessfully to get 80gr AMAX to shoot from my 1.9 twist, knew it would be a risk but got a couple of boxes of projectiles as i have a 1.7 twist AR also. The 80gr never even got close to stabilising in the 1.9 and i got better results with the 69gr Sierra's in the AR.

Oh well, you win some and you lose some..

75 bthp hornady for the Ar' s, very accurate 0.3 to 0.5" load to a maximum metal mag length. Two accuracy nodes 1 at min(slow though like 2300) then another a bit over Max book with BM2. Ok to hunt with also, and cheap-ish

I've been using both 2208 and BM2, I find BM2 slightly more accurate and a lot easier to meter. Also I am finding the SMKs shoot better than the TMKs I need to experiment with the seating depth some more for the TMKs I suspect.
