Hi guys...has anyone had been using the 150 eldx out to say 600 yards...
I'm thinking about launching them at about 2900 fps...
I imagine the 150 ballistic tips would be similar?
Cheers...Chris

At that speed they should work well, they are meant to open well at around 1800 fps or a bit lower. Yes I think they would be similar to the BT but the ELD X has the interlock ring to help hold jacket to core.
Perhaps a better question would be how well do they work at 1800 fps...probably 500 yards in a 7mm08

Don't know the answer to that one but presume they will work as advertised as the manufactures carry out test to ensure they are OK. Recently I shot a sambar stag (neck shot) at 25 yards with my 300 Win Mag / 178 ELD X and it worked well , recovered the bullet mushroomed right back but still retaining the lead, and weighted 91 grains. So on the closer end of the scale they are reliable but have yet to get any long range data yet.
im sure they do...im still using Amax and have a lot of faith in how explosive that are...150eldm would be nice
I have shot plenty of goats with my 270 wsm from 5 yards out to 500 yards with 145 gr eld-x projectiles awesome bullets
What speed and load @sometimes ?
65.5 grains of 2217 i think its doing about 2960 wrote it down some where but cant find it started showing pressure signs with any more powder groups started opening up standed length tikka barrel dpt suppresser
