For me, the 155 TMK's in .308 at 2850 have killed deer fine, as has the 130 TMK in 6.5 Cm. A slightly tougher version of the Amax. If the 95 Berger wasn't such a stone cold killer in my .243, I would go to the 95 TMK and expect good results.

    Absolutely outstanding performance.

What are the details for your 7mm08 load and what barrel details do you run? If you dont mind sharing that is 😉

I dont run any in that mongrel 7mm cal but Ive used the TMKs on game since they were released.

    69gr in the .223
77gr in the 5.5x47 AI Lapua and the .22 Grendel
    95gr in the 6mm Dasher
    107gr in the 6.5 grendel
130gr in the 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5x47 Lapua
    125gr in the .30BR, .300 BLK and .308x39
    175gr in the .308win

I put them on par with ELDMs. Both very similar jacket thickness but the TMK has a larger tip and hp void under it.
They kill great and dump a lot of if not all of their energy on deer and goat sized game. Being lighter jacketed it expands well at lower velocities and longer ranges too.

I have only recovered one bullet from under the exit side hide of a fallow at 200m. The animal stepped forward as I shot so the bullet hit a little far back behind the shoulder turning the liver to pulp and passing through the front of the rumen which must have acted like a thick ballistic gel because the bullet didnt exit. It punched through a rib on the exit side but stopped under the skin.
A 100% energy dump that dropped the fallow on the spot and caused some very interesting internal trauma that I have not seen before with this bullet.

The norm with the TMK is a pass through with great expansion and wound channel with an exit wound of about an inch. Very little to no meet damage on most accounts if placement is right

The Sierra tipped match king although a little lower in BC than some of the other brands in the same weights available it has been absolutely dependable on all game. All bang flops.. nothing walked.

TMK's and Game Changers are quite different from what I have read. The Game Changer I had hoped would be the ultimate bullet but it appears it may be a lot harder than the Game King with a heavier jacket and a harder core. Not real world experience from me though. Be interested to hear if the actual results are any different.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Thanks for the info guys. Have loaded 3 x 60 grains Reloder 26 in 7 saum and 3 x61 grains. Hoping for around 2850 from 20 inch barrel and acceptable accuracy.

Not sure what you are after - 22" barrel (no suppressor) 3050fps - gun goes bang, deer and Tahr (including big bodied bulls) go dump within a few yards. Lung shots my preference, total internal destruction, no blood trail, no entry damage, no exit damage. Likely want a partition for big angry mud covered stag though.

+3" at 100yds = -3" at 300yds, point and shoot without clickety this and clickety that, 350yds, hold on top of shoulder, resistant to wind drift.
