Some input from those in the know would be appreciated. I am in the market for a rifle for Reds out to 500 or so yards using 162 to 168s. I will most likely go to a T3X. I was going to do the 284 Win conversion thing (I have had a 284 before and am familier with the round). But then I thought for the sake of a bit more powder why not just get a 7mm rem mag and be done with it.
I will take the barrel down to 20 or 21 inches max and suppress.
Anyone with a short 7mm Rem Mag out there? Loads, velocity, any input really.
