Just curious - Is anyone out there reloading and shooting deer with these bullets? I thought I might load some up and try them .

I tried going that route with my 17" tikka. Was getting 3000fps with 2206h. I went away from them as i wasn't very impressed with performance on game, and it limited me on distance too. they were accurate though, easy to load for. I located a stack of 162 amax and run those now and am very pleased.

Mixture of both. Ill be fair, if it collected solid bone on the way in or out it really worked well. But often thats not the case, front on shots id be skeptical itd do enough to be able to recover the animal. Switching to the amax has been the best thing i did for that gun. Even a 139interlok would go well id say. Or a 150 gameking if your into a more traditional hunting bullet, however i know youve had plenty of experience with match bullets on game

Yeah im using 140 BT's at the moment and to be fair ive had very few issues with them and shot a fair amount of reds with them. Im just considering a little more speed thats all .

I read somewhere that the 120gr bt uses the same jacket as the 140gr but shortened in the process, hence it is a bit beefier through the ogive which is why its so good especially when driven fast. End of the day, ive moved away from looking for the fasest node and gone towards running everything at moderate speeds, but i run eldm or amax, which will expand well all the way out with moderate velocities. The 139sst is very popular too. Belmont might have some loaded rounds available if you wanted to try some on game without full commitment

None really apart from poor shot placement the odd time. Generally kill very well. I only have a 16” barrel hence why I’m considering a lighter pill.

I have a short barrel on my newest project and a slow heavy for caliber pill still beats a light fast one imo I have do e a lot of number crunching and unless the recoil bothers you I would suggest you have a good think before fixing what ain't broke.
Not saying a light fast bullet wont work but it will make shot placement even more critical than with the 140gn pills.
But hey I love to tutu as well so do as you please this is just my 2 cents
    Keep us posted either way

I shot a spiker with one, my daughter shot one as well. Mine was a 70yd(?) shoulder hit, dropped it right there. My daughters was a quartering on shot. Hit infront of the shoulder exited behind the opposite shoulder, deer ran about 100-150yd.

    My spiker

I tried them with 2208, go plenty of speed an reasonably accurate but rather poor performance on the first couple of animals so didn't persevere with them
